What is FINERAC?

FINERAC stands for 'Finland India Network of Researchers and Academics'. It is a platform of academics and researchers living in Finland with a connection to India. This includes both Indian-origin researchers and researchers having or seeking to establish collaboration with the Indian academic and research ecosystem. FINERAC aims to facilitate interactions among its members to promote research collaborations and provide peer support. It also seeks to enable and increase collaborations between Finnish and Indian universities/research institutions.

Objectives

  • To provide a common platform to academics, researchers, and industry* who have an interest in building linkages with Finland-India research collaboration.
  • To provide peer support by facilitating interactions among the FINERAC members through seminars/meetings.
  • To create an environment for multidisciplinary research and facilitate cooperation among researchers through building linkages between Finland and India.
