JOIN FINERAC

Objectives

  • To provide a common platform to academics, researchers, and industry* who have an interest in building linkages with Finland-India research collaboration.
  • To provide peer support by facilitating interactions among the FINERAC members through seminars/meetings.
  • To create an environment for multidisciplinary research and facilitate cooperation among researchers through building linkages between Finland and India.
  • The long-term goal of FINERAC is to create and contribute to sustainable and strong research relations between Finland and India.
  • To build awareness on research opportunities in Finland and India, the available talent pool and vast knowledge across different fields of research.

  • Discuss issues impacting your academic career in Finland with peers from your (and broader) research community.

Rules and guidelines

  • Any communication should be relevant to R&D, academic collaboration possibilities, funding schemes, industry-academia alliances, opportunities within Finland and India to perform joint research, or other economic activity
  • Personal, cultural, religious, regional, political, or other unrelated communication or points of views will not be appreciated
  • All communication within the community must be in English

What FINERAC is not

  • A lobbying platform for individuals/research groups/organisations to further their agenda/business
  • It does not have any political leanings nor does not get involved in politics of any sort
  • FINERAC does not seek to get involved in policy decisions of the respective governmental bodies/funding agencies etc. nor does it supersede the existing structures in FInland/India.
  • FINERAC does not get involved in monetary restrictions in any manner, unless decided on this point later
