Existing MoUs among the universities and institutes

MoU between Consortium of ten Finnish Universities and twenty-three Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), 2020-2025

• An extension and continuation of the MoU signed in October 2014 during the State visit of the President of Finland

Aim

• To encourage long-term sustainable collaboration among IITs and the Finnish Universities after recognising their mutual interest in research, development, education, entrepreneurship, innovation and technology transfer on a non-commercial basis
• Provide a broad, open and non-binding framework to enable educational and research cooperation
• Makes it feasible to pursue the following general forms of cooperation within fileds that are mutually acceptable by the partners involved

Focus areas

• Visits by and interchange of faculty, staff and students for research, teaching, studying and discussions
• Exchange of materials, publications and information
• Joint education and research activities
• Joint research seminars, conferences and other events
