Government of India had organized Vaishvik Bharatiya Vaigyanik (VAIBHAV) Summit to connect Indian STEMM diaspora with Indian Institutions. The summit was attended by Indian STEMM diaspora from more than 70 countries. As a follow up to the Summit,

VAIBHAV Fellowship scheme has been launched which envisages a collaboration between scientists of Indian Diaspora with Indian Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs), Universities and/ or public funded Scientific Institutions. The first call of VAIBHAV Fellowship Call-2023 has been announced with starting date of 15 June 2023, and closing date of 31 July 2023.
